Gensuke Kishi is a product and interior designer based in Rennes, France.

His work is based on a wide range of design experience, from product design to spatial design, with an emphasis on integrated design thinking and a multifaceted approach. He has participated in design projects and exhibitions not only in Japan and Europe, but also in the USA, Asian countries, designing new and unprecedented works by combining the unique cultures, materials and crafts he has come into direct contact with in each region with the traditional skills of craftspeople in local Japanese industries. His works, which are a contemporary interpretation of materials and traditional crafts, is internationally acclaimed and is sold in prominent museums and department stores around the world, including MoMA Design Store, NY, and M+Museum, Hong Kong, and has been featured in international media such as The Guardian and Dezeen.
